New messages afford the acquisition of the rs2-version (selection possible: e.g. 3.1.0 SP02), the affected program (e.g. S_ADR) and the fields (the module-code normally corresponds to the first letter of the program or Y for system). Having the Web-Support of an rs2 program called up, means that they are now available as basic information in the mask.
Please enter a significant subject (30 figures), additionally to support number, to ease e-mail communication and table enquiry.
It's important to enter your problem description in the field message - ideally by adding a concrete example.
If you require adding files to a support-message, (Word-document with screen dopy, Excel-sheets, error files, import files etc.), you can provide them for us via CREATING A FILE. We recommend a FTP-Upload for bigger files (you get the directory by confirming the FTP). The file must afterwards be added to the support message via CREATING A FILE (button on the right side), which enables the rs2 support team access to your file! Please don't forget a written comment.
Files can also be downloaded. For downloading per HTTP or FTP, either press the download symbol or (just IE) right click on the download symbol and then click"save as"... We recommend an FTP-download for bigger files.
Having the message saved, means it is now available in the RS2-support database and a support number is automatically generated. Moreover, e-mails are sent to every address in the array "e-mail", consisting of a complete text about your support message plus your provided files.
Hints concerning upload
You can upload files as long as the status indicates NEW or OPEN. If you want to add files afterwards, please send us an e-mail with attached hint to support number.
Deleting of an added file (prior saving of the support message): Mark the line in the table "uploads" - ctrl+L; The line is deleted while saving the message.
